Unfortunately, I woke up too late because I was tired from partying the night before the release of this collaboration. All jokes aside, I'm quite content with my purchase. Yes, I wanted the metallic blue or even the bronze pair, but ended up with black. I love that even though they look basic, the structure of the heel is quite different from others. I showed them to my brother in law, and surprisingly, he also wanted a pair. My friend Audrey and I went to an H&M in 5th Ave. at around 1 and yet the line was still building outside of the store. It's crazy how many people have also lined up the night before. I mean, they did have appealing clothes that had fun prints especially the voluminous dresses for women. I just wish they sold more of everything, but we can't always have what we want now can we?
After visiting H&M, we walked to Columbus Circle hence the hanging lit star objects located above this entry. We also passed by stores such as Louis Vuitton and Forever21 that just opened recently on 5th Ave. Frvr21 is branching out everywhere making it accessible for many customers, hopefully the men's section makes an improvement soon. I just wanted to share with you guys a few photos of me and a few friends getting ready for a night out. Fabulous, no??
*sigh* I want something from this collection so bad

I was so disappointed I got there after they opened here in Toronto. I was hoping for a bow tie but missed out. Still managed to get 2 cardigans and a windcheater. See my blog post

love the shoes... i totally missed it as i was in india when they launched this...but i can never have the stamina to stand in line in the night and all...so i always let it pass...someday maybe i can afford the real deal, hopefully :)
ReplyDeletelove the shoes still...i would have liked the blue ones in my size too...
ur friends and u look fab..hopw u had a fun time
I never made it to the Lanvin x H&M frenzy in NYC - which was pretty shocking considering how much I was obsessing over that one-shouldered, pouffed dresses. The whole thought of insanely long lines and in-store madness turned me off. Hopefully I can find one of those dresses on eBay later on when the prices go down.
ReplyDeleteI think you made a great purchase though! Those black shoes look rare, versatile and quite smart.
Thank you for the kind comment - I'm obsessing over bold western print bags at the moment! :)
I'll be checking back on your blog regularly!
xx Lauren
