Send me on my way.

As I was looking through my Iphoto albums, I saw pictures during the summer and remembered how much I miss the warm weather. Less layering, more skin and vibrant colors. Now that it's December, we're expecting heavy wind, snow, and of course the temperature to drop lower day by day. Not to mention, dry skin calling for lotion to moisturize. hah. Well, sometimes I love the cold weather only when I'm sipping on hot chocolate and listening to melodious songs. So that's why I made a new playlist that you're probably listening to now.

So here are some photos that I saw that made me miss wearing those shorts and low vnecks. But then again, I loved that oversized jacket from Neiman Marcus that I borrowed from my aunt back in Indiana.

Oh, by the way, I got really bored with my banner and decided to change it. I know they're not necessarily taken with a quality camera. In fact, I took it with my macbook on various days, but I liked the outfits I wore..... so was it a complete fail or just blah? Let me know guys! xx

You never called.

Just wanted to mention that the first photo is just one of a few that I will be uploading soon. My sister and I decided to use our lobby instead of the roof this time. The lighting was alright, considering that the photos were taken at night but I can't complain. I mean, there's also this big obnoxious mirror that I never forget to take a look at every time before I leave the building.

I was looking over photos that I took from Fashion Week not too long ago, and came across the last 3 pictures. After coming from the Staerk and Pamela Love Show, I passed by this Floral boutique shop called Adore. The window display caught my attention that I just HAD to take a few snapshots. Aren't they beautiful? It just feels so refreshing to see those figures assembled the way they are next to the plants.

..... Just thought I'd like to share that.haha. So check back for more photos soon!! I'm writing this post at 2 am and I have school in the morning so.... bonne nuit!!

Relieves me from pain, again and again.

It was just one of those days that I seriously could not distinguish what to wear for the day because the weather ranged from 50-75 degrees. I've been meaning to post this last week, but to be honest, I was just being lazy. This was the day I went to the School of the Arts Institute Open House/Portfolio Day downtown. I prepared other things besides fashion illustration such as paintings and photography but they only told me to focus on one aspect. Fashion. So I ended up showing one of the representatives two of my dresses and photos from the fashion show. I was happy to hear that he liked it and gave me an approval.

I just wanted to get this posted before I start cleaning my room, it's been messy for months now and I can't even continue sewing a dress I'm working on because everything is just so unorganized... so I'm hoping for a change now.

Rooftop At Night

I love extra large sweaters because they just feel so comfortable and loose. This is a thrifted Ralph Lauren sweater. I was being careless when I wore it before that I got yellow oil paint on it so it has a small amount of stain. Regardless of the situation, I still loved it. I worked on my portfolio tonight and needed to take a break even though I only drew 3 fashion design sketches so I went to my roof and borrowed my sister's tie dyed scarf.

Lumberjack?

The only thing that really annoys me about this whole college process is completing a portfolio and time management. It seems as though I am always procrastinating and never get things done on time. Hopefully that'll change soon. Last week I checked out FIT at the Suny College Fair, I also visited Parsons this weekend and I'm going to attend a National Portfolio Day sometime next week with School of the Arts Institute of Chicago. Joy.

Focus is what I need at the moment.

It's funny how I actually got this jacket like 5 years ago and yet I'm just wearing it now.
