She's Got Style.

Maggie's style looked so fresh, flirty, and elegant. Her dress consisted of polka dots and floral cutouts- finished with a thick brown woven belt. So Americana.
Her wedges could have been a little higher but other than that, I loved the way it wrapped around her feet.

So Simple.

Matta's dress flowed well on a windy day.
It was about matching with the palest palette and exposure.
She had cute black woven sandal that had exciting colors and simple patterns.

Tell Me What You Know About Dreamin'.

The highlight of this lady's outfit was her purse/clutch. Whatever you call it. I love the tribal essence it delivered. The dress was feminine and simple. I love how the color tone was different where the thick belt was added.

Heads Will Roll.

Leaning more towards that hint of a laid back edgy look. Shredded tee paired with folded jean shorts and gray shoes. Made the shirt myself even though it took a while. If you guys haven't noticed, this is where I got my inspiration for my header haha.

The Chronicles are so misleading.

I love this outfit that my sister, Alyanna, wore because I never see her wear yellow and i think that yellow is a great color tone for hot weather. It's just so summery and refreshing. I love the movement her shirt displays due to the drapery. I love how she made it look casual with light jean shorts and finished it off with gold wedges that gives it more of a repetition to the shirt. She wore a necklace that complimented her shirt- showing analogous and spice colors that made this outfit look beautiful.

Massive Attack

I loved Ivonne's outfit and the way she worked it with a fierce attitude. There's definitely different aspects in her outfit that I enjoyed. The top gives it a "dark glamour/rock star-ish" look and it's sexy the way her toned body showed. The harem pants displays a strong sense of femininity, the movement was very serene and the print just added extra beauty. Of course, the shoes are to die for. Overall, I thought she enjoyed this look so much- playful yet elegant.

Heart Skipped A Beat

I met Amy on my way to the train from Breakthrough's SAT Prep.  She was eating a sandwich from Lenny's so I didn't know if I wanted to disturb her, but I did. Our conversation about fashion and other things made me glad that I approached her. I love her style because it seemed appropriate for office but can also easily adapt to any fun events at night. Simple, simple, simple.

Get Real.

I ran across this lady named Michelle on my way home from Spring St. It was late at night so who wouldn't notice those color blocked bright shoes!? It stood out the most from her outfit because they were bold and very vivid. The shoes had a hint of architectural structure- note the back of shoes.

Besides her shoes, everything else looked amazing. I loved how she did not restrict herself from wearing lace "cycling shorts".  And the lace did not just stop there- there was a repetition by wearing the loose lace blazer.

There was light fluidity in this very strong outfit. We see this from the drapery on her top. Not to mention her playful eye makeup.

One Step Closer.

These were some of my favorite when I helped out with Christian Stroble. I forgot the other brands but all I know is that the black wedges are from Acne. Feel free to comment me to let me know where these came from.

Paris Haute Couture Collection 2010: Givenchy

The collection that was delivered by Riccardo Tisci consisted of only 10 looks- all muted floor length gowns that were carefully embellished. This presentation was constructed with a diligent manner. Everything was designed with proper attention to the silhouettes and tailoring. The materials chosen dramatized the design, ranging from textured embellishments, flowy fringe, or romantic sheer and lace.
The simple colour palette was chosen with the efforts to incorporate a dramatic effect along with the loose hairstyle and significant makeup. The concentration was notably developed for an awe to the audience, especially since the structure of the designs and proper placements of cinching were feminine yet powerful.
